LaPilates offers a 45β60 minute mat-based practice that blends contemporary Pilates with somatic release, heart-opening sequencing, lymphatic flow, and functional mobility. Classes move through grounding, opening, and deep core activation to clear and align energy from the inside out.
Barefoot, light props, classes are tailored to the groupβs experience level and goals.

THE LAPILATES METHOD
OPEN
Clear energy through heart opening, conscious breath and intentional sequencing. Dynamic stretches are woven throughout class to create space in the body while also stimulating lymphatic flow and circulation.
POWER
Develop foundational strength through targeted isolation, precision, and sustained time under tension. The Solar Plexus is the bodyβs energetic center, we activate it by engaging the bodyβs deepest core stabilizing muscles. Movement becomes lighter and more fluid.
ROOT
Ground into the safety of floor work through functional holds, rotation, and barefoot mobility. Here, the body builds stability, balance, and resilience while body awareness sharpens.
Meet Kelly
Kelly LaPrade is a certified Pilates instructor, brand leader, and movement practitioner. She has spent two decades at the intersection of wellness, brand, and movement β first as a PR leader for some of the industryβs most recognized names, now as the creator of LaPilates, a holistic movement method, and the writer behind The Posting on Substack.
She came to mat Pilates not as a fitness choice but as a necessity β a woman who was deeply disconnected from herself and found that slow, breath-led movement was the thing that actually made her feel something. It changed her posture, her nervous system, and her relationship with herself. LaPilates is the distillation of that practice.
